Who are you really?
In this message from Ephesians 1, we begin a brand-new sermon series focused on identity—not the labels we give ourselves, but who God says we are in Christ. Just like the believers in Ephesus, many of us wrestle with defining ourselves by our past, our failures, our jobs, our background, or the world around us. But Paul reminds us that our true identity is rooted in Jesus alone.
Walking through Ephesians 1:3–13, we discover that:
We are chosen, loved, and adopted by God
Every spiritual blessing has already been given to us in Christ
Our obedience flows from being God’s children, not from trying to earn His love
Everything in life flows from who we believe we are
This message challenges us to put Jesus back at the center of our lives, let go of false identities, and fully embrace the new identity God has given us through Christ.
