In Part 5 of our Ephesians series, we continue exploring what it means to live out our identity in Christ. In Ephesians 5, the Apostle Paul calls believers to imitate God and live lives that stand apart from the patterns of the world.
Followers of Jesus are not called to blend ināwe are called to reflect Christ. When we truly understand who we are in Him, it begins to change the way we speak, the way we love people, the way we respond to temptation, and the way we live every day.
Paul reminds us that we were once living in darkness, but through Christ we have been brought into the light. Because of that transformation, our lives should produce what is good, right, and true.
In this message, we look at how believers are called to reject the sins that once defined us, embrace a life marked by love and gratitude, and allow the light of Christ to shine both in us and through us. When we imitate God and walk in His love, our lives become a testimony to the world around us.
Living differently is not about perfectionāitās about allowing Jesus to transform us from the inside out.
In this message, we explore:
⢠What it means to imitate God in everyday life
⢠Why followers of Jesus are called to reject sin
⢠How gratitude shapes the way we live
⢠How Godās light exposes darkness and produces good in our lives
When Christians truly live differently, the world begins to see the difference Christ makes.
